We’re celebrating the US launch of our first app, Dragon Shapes, hurrah!
In the spirit of tooting our own horn, we’d like to share with you some of the amazing feedback we’ve had so far…
Dragon Shapes scored an impressive five stars from The iMums, thanks iMums!
They said Dragon Shapes is ‘highly recommended – an educational app that is fun, challenging and teaches new skills in a way that feels like playing rather than learning.’
Mary, the reviewer, highlighted the app’s appeal for different age groups and it’s potential for kids and parents to enjoy the app together.
‘Both my sons and I really enjoyed playing the app and solving the puzzles, and even as an adult I found some of the later puzzles challenging. I really felt we learned to look at shapes in a different way.’ Yay!
Stuart Dredge wrote a lovely overview on Apps Playground.
‘Shapes are the perfect subject for a children’s app: whether early shape-recognition or more complex geometry, these topics lend themselves well to the touchscreen. Here’s the latest proof: Dragon Shapes: Geometry Challenge, a lovely-looking app from developer Lighthouse Learning aimed at 6-10 year-olds.
The production quality is excellent, with plenty of charm. We’re looking forward to seeing what else Lighthouse Learning comes up with in the future.’ Watch this space!
Smart Apps for Kids gave us an excellent 4.5 stars out of 5. Heather the reviewer said of Dragon Shapes: ‘a must-have for educators and parents‘, ‘makes me smile from the moment I start‘ and ‘this app definitely comes out on top.’ Result!
